The Maymont Foundation

Renovation and addition to an existing 3 story structure with a basement.  The existing structure is being converted from a residential use to a business use.  The work includes restoration of stucco, wood trim, reglazing windows, painting, demolition of existing walls and bathrooms for new office space and toilets with an addition to house office, meeting spaces, support spaces including stairs, an elevator, toilets and mechanical, electrical and water service spaces.  A new mechanical and electrical infrastructure will be installed.  The exterior construction is brick masonry, fiber-cement siding and trim, aluminum storefront, synthetic tile roofing and single-ply membrane roofing.  Interior finishes include gypsum drywall, acoustical tile systems, tile carpeting, ceramic tile and custom millwork.  This is a steel frame structure with metal stud wall framing, cold-formed metal roof trusses, steel roof deck, wood rafters roof deck and slab-on-grade construction.  Sitework includes new concrete sidewalks, stairs, bluestone paving, fencing and landscaping.
